從今天中午到剛才,也將我的勁恆3槽行動電源/MAX1879充電器再充了一次電,觀察一下轉燈之後18650長時間留在充電槽中的情形。
在未充電之前,3顆三洋18650都是接近滿電,所以開始充電之後不久紅燈就開始閃爍(相當於ML103-V3.3的半恆流脈衝充電),大約2.5小時後轉藍燈,此時的18650電壓是4.21V(以前測試的記錄),轉藍燈之後藍燈間歇性地會閃爍一下而且兩次閃爍間之時間間隔愈來愈長(相當於ML103-V3.3轉燈之後的補電涓流脈衝),轉藍燈大約4小時之後藍燈完全不閃而恆亮,按照MAX1879的Datasheet,應該是補電涓流脈衝完全停止(見最後引述的Datasheet原文),此時關掉AC Adapter 的電源,取出18650再量電壓,轉藍燈大約4小時之後仍然是4.21V。可以大致印證補電涓流脈衝最後會完全停止。(順便確認一下勁恆3槽行動電源/MAX1879充電器在轉燈之後不關掉充電電源仍然是安全的。)
MAX1879 Datasheet的相關段落Pulsed Top-Off Charge
At the beginning of the Top-Off state, the current stays
on for a 1/8 duty cycle. As the cell continues to charge,
the percentage of time spent in the “current-on” mode
decreases. Towards the end of top-off, the current
stays off for many cycles between single “on” pulses.
During these final pulses, the instantaneous cell voltage
may exceed the battery regulation voltage, but the
duration of these pulses is several orders of magnitude
shorter than the intrinsic chemical time constant of the
Li+ cell. This does not harm the cell. Cell top-off is completed
when the charging timer expires (approximately
6.25hr). 按照MAX1879 Datasheet,補電涓流脈衝在定時器6.25小時到了之後是要完全停止。
只是這6.25小時不知是從轉燈之後算起,還是從更早之前的脈衝充電期間算起。 |
